Procedures
Brow lift surgery corrects drooping of the brows and also improves the aesthetics of the upper eyelids. A brow lift can also minimize creases that develop across the forehead or those that develop between the eyes, giving you a more youthful look.
Endoscopic brow lift surgery restores a more youthful and refreshed appearance to the forehead and brow area. By gently lifting the brows and restoring their natural arch, conditions such as horizontal lines, crow’s feet, and furrows may be corrected.
Facelift surgery is designed to reduce or improve signs of aging in the lower and middle areas of the face. By removing excess facial tissue, tightening underlying muscles, and re-draping the skin of your face and neck, a facelift can take years off your appearance.
Eyelid surgery (also known as blepharoplasty) is a procedure that removes fat and excess tissue from around the eyes, rejuvenating one’s facial appearance. Eyelid surgery can correct drooping upper lids and puffy bags below your eyes - features that make you look older and more tired than you feel, and may even interfere with your vision.
Rhinoplasty, or nasal surgery, is one of the most common of all plastic surgery procedures. By making subtle changes to the nose, rhinoplasty can improve your facial proportions. Dr. Aboolian can reduce or increase the size of your nose, change the shape of the tip or the bridge, narrow the span of the nostrils, or change the angle between your nose and your upper lip. Each person’s nose is unique, so an examination and consultation is necessary to plan the ideal surgical technique.
Breathing and/or snoring problems are common and affect both men and women. This can affect ones daily activities, exercise, sleeping and cause friction in a relationship. Dr. Aboolian can improve your breathing problem caused by your nose. Each person's problem is unique, so an examination and consultation is necessary. Such procedures if medically necessary may be covered under your health insurance assuming medical treatment has failed.
Facial fat grafting is a procedure that corrects lines and wrinkles in the face using your own natural tissue. Plastic surgeons also refer to this procedure as autologous fat transplantation or micro-lipoinjection. Fat is extracted from your thighs, abdomen, or elsewhere before it is prepared and injected into areas that need contouring.
Neck contouring can enhance the angular shape of your lower face and neck. If you exhibit aesthetic problems such as neck bands, neck fat, excess skin or sagging neck muscles, one of these procedures can dramatically improve appearance. Liposuction of the neck and chin is appropriate for patients who exhibit good skin tone. In other cases, a neck lift may be the best solution.
Cheek augmentation may involve the placement of facial implants or injection of dermal fillers. The procedure can restore fullness that has been lost due to aging, or increase cheek projection to achieve a better facial balance. In many cases, cheek augmentation can be combined with another facial rejuvenation procedure to achieve superior results.
Chin surgery, also known as mentoplasty, is a surgical procedure to reshape the chin either by enhancement with an implant or reduction surgery on the bone. When the chin lacks proportion – whether it is weak or prominent – a plastic surgeon can reshape it to balance the patient’s facial features.
Ear surgery procedures can correct a variety of issues related to the ears. With otoplasty, Dr. Aboolian can set prominent ears back closer to the head or to reduce their size. The operation is usually done on children between the ages of four and 14. Earlobe repair can be performed when the ears have become stretched or torn due to accidents or long-term use of large, heavy earrings.
Lip augmentation involves the placement of a soft tissue filler, administered by injection into the lips. Fillers for lip augmentation may be composed of fat, collagen, or hyaluronic acid. The goals of lip augmentation are to enlarge the kissable area of your lips and rejuvenate the skin around the mouth.
