Breast Reduction
Breast Reduction is reserved for patients with large, pendulous breasts which cause a multitude of problems including back and neck pain, skin irritations or infections under the breast, and indentations over the shoulders caused by pressure from bra straps. The reduction involves removal of fat and glandular breast tissue, along with excessive skin. Smaller, lighter and firmer breasts that are shaped in proportion to the rest of the body are then achieved. Often, this procedure may be covered by health insurance. If you have health insurance, it is wise to discuss coverage of this procedure with Dr. Aboolian so that the appropriate investigative inquiries can be made.
